Matrix is the world's third largest supplier of active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and intermediates.
Based in Hyderabad, India, Matrix has several operating units, including a network of API manufacturing facilities across India and China.
Its subsidiaries include Concord Biotech Limited, Matrix Laboratories N.V., Matrix Pharma Group (Xiamen) Limited and Astrix Laboratories LTD. Matrix
also owns and operates Docpharma, a distributor of generic pharmaceuticals in
Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. In addition, Matrix is a major supplier of API and
finished dosage forms of antiretroviral products, which are used to treat people living with HIV/AIDS.
